Second Skin is a completely new and innovative way of filling wrinkles and an alternative to filling treatments, inspired by medical techniques. It is a non-invasive procedure that gives the effect of a "second, new skin", shapes the contours and does not give the effect of an artificial mask. Second Skin visibly lifts the skin and eliminates visible signs of aging, strongly regenerates, increases skin firmness and density, by stimulating collagen synthesis, and reduces the number and depth of wrinkles. Medical grade hyaluronic acid is used for the procedure. It is a pure substance with a very low weight, 40 times more concentrated than used in traditional cosmetics.
During the procedure special patches are used, composed of 80% hyaluronic acid and serum with strong repair properties. In their production, the Biologique Recherche laboratory used an innovative method of obtaining hyaluronic acid nanofibers. This is how the first cosmetic mask was created, developed thanks to the electrospinning method.

Hyaluronic acid
Sodium hyaluronate is a polysaccharide from the glycosaminoglycan group (GAG). Together with collagen, elastin and proteoglycans, it forms connective tissue. From a physiological point of view, the dermis regulates various skin functions (epidermis, dermis, subcutaneous tissue), including the level of hydration. Hyaluronic acid is associated with this process because it has the unique ability to retain water. Working like a real "molecular sponge" it absorbs up to 1000 times more water than its weight. Hyaluronic acid slows down the aging process because by covering collagen fibers it changes soluble collagen into insoluble one. Topically applied, it creates an elastic film on the skin, accumulates water and thus helps maintain proper hydration of the stratum corneum regardless of humidity

Hyaluronic acid is a moisturizing component naturally found in the skin. It has a gelatinous consistency and provides nutrients to cells. With age, its amount in the skin decreases. It is caused by the presence of free radicals in the body, which are released by e.g. solar exposure and pollution. Hyaluronic acid has a high affinity for water, it can absorb over 1000 times more than it weighs. Used in cosmetic products, it creates a flexible film on the skin that allows skin replacement. It helps the stratum corneum to accumulate as much water as possible.
NMF
It is formed during the process of skin keratosis, sebum secretion by the sebaceous glands and during sweating. Its ability to bind and retain water in the stratum corneum allows it to provide adequate hydration, and thus give a healthy and fresh look. When it is not enough, the skin becomes rough, sagging and wrinkles form on it much faster.
Kaolin (white clay)
Kaolin is a clay with absorbent properties, often used for dry and sensitive skin care. It regenerates cells, acts as a micro-peeling and remineralizes the epidermis.
